Dot Art- Ombre Valentine Heart

This fun Ombre Valentine Heart is super easy to make. 

Materials:
-Paint 
-Pencil Eraser
-Canvas
-Heart Shaped cut-out













Start by cutting out a heart and lay the shape over your canvas. Then get your paint ready onto a paper plate (or do like I did and use a piece of white cardboard). Now starts the fun part! Dip and lightly press the eraser end of the paper into the paint. 

Hold the heart shape cutout onto the canvas so that it doesn't move when you paint (or use painter's tape to secure it in place). Now start going around the outline of the heart, after the first time you can remove the heart from the canvas.  

Then, mix a little bit of red to the pink and continue going around the outline of the heart. To get the ombre effect, add a little bit of red each time to darken the paint. 

You can continue to outline the heart as many times as you would like. 

And there you have it, your own masterpiece!
